Alright, you’ve got *massive* spoilers here, but the only person I know who intends to beat Bioshock and hasn’t yet has already read this article.

As I mentioned previously, Trine looks and sounds amazing.
Now, adding coop makes it even better. Coming soon to a PS3 or PC near you. I just really, *really* hope they allow support for 2 players on one system, and a third on another; too many games are either all hotseat, or all online. My roomate wants to play, too, dammit.
Get hyped.

I think it is interesting Square Enix (Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest) are publishing this title, but from the looks of it, it does look fun. I’ve always been more a fan of large scale RTS games (Starcraft, C&C, TotalWar) than the smaller scale they’ve been leaning towards in recent years (World in Conflict, Company of Heroes, Dawn of War 2, or even Dawn of War 1).
Small scale conflict needs more formations; Myth 2 was the best small scale I’ve played.
Sometimes, strategy games are fun when they have less strategy and just look *damn* good. When it is fun just watching a mass of units run across the battlefield, it is a bit easier to make the rest of the game entertaining, too.
This week it Steam offers the Peggle Deluxe and Peggle Nights pack. Each game individually is normally $10. The $20 pack is available for half off: $10. I highly recommend trying the Peggle demo. The presentation and music are great fun, even if the gameplay mechanics feel entirely random:
Pachinko, ftw.
If you don’t have Mirror’s Edge yet, and had any interest, this is a great time to pick it up.
Only $20, for Xbox360 and PC (sold out of PS3?):

Thanks, CAG Twitter.
Codemaster (the guys who make really good driving games) are currently bringing us a post-apocalyptic racer: Mad Max in style, open world of Burnout Paradise, and looks similar to Motorstorm.
This game will have to get awful reviews for me to not be interested.
I hope we can set up private leagues. A tabletop game by the Warhammer guys, it was a violent version of tabletop football. Like a turn-based Mutant League with fantasy characters. It will apparently feature both the traditional turn-based mode, and an arcade real-time mode.
I recently finished volume 4 of Fables. It is a comic that takes very well know and established children’s story characters and applies them to a modern world. The stories from your childhood have had to flee their lands and establish an outpost in the real world New York. Snow White, Jack and the Beanstalk, and the Big Bad Wolf all assume roles in this new society that attempts to remain hidden from human eyes. Some characters are combined, such as Prince Charming is every Prince in each story; a womanizer who cheated on each princess when rescuing the next.

Which is exactly what I did when I bought my “new” Dell XT. When built new, this machine would have cost $2200, but was available for around $800-$900. With a 20% off coupon, shipping, tax, it came out to about $671.
I was planning on picking up a netbook and a Wacom tablet. Then Ted told me about this deal, which I bit on. So far, it seems like a great compromise. Throwing on the Windows 7 beta was also a great idea, as was buying Crayon Physics Deluxe.
Rant:
CSI people are the Judge Dreads of TV. They investigate, analyze, apprehend, interrogate, and occasionally execute their criminals. Each agent is assigned to a case with a partner.  Each partner is fully capable of doing any of the tasks required. If one performs a task, the other comes over and pats them on the shoulder; it could have just as easily been them performing the hair fiber analysis. They aren’t specialists; they are super-humans who have 8 PhD’s and are more capable in all aspects of a case than any one real specialist.
And then they don’t even die when shot in the head. Repeatedly.
Then they come back, *retarded*, and they are still smarter than everyone but their partners.
